Quad Logistics Services was formed in 1999 through a series of mergers and acquisitions that have combined over 80 individual printing companies. Quad Logistics Services is the logistics arm of Quad/Graphics. In 2000, Quad Logistics Services created QW Express for effective management of the plants' and customers' expedited needs. Since then, QW Express has evolved into a global freight forwarder with multi-modal capabilities including ground expediting, domestic airfreight, international airfreight, ocean freight, LTL trucking and truckload services.
